hardware or software problem?

Hello,

I’ve got a server with ovh and have had 2 server defects in 2 days.
The description is “No information on the screen (“black screen”). No response to keyboard.”
I’ve ran the rescue mode thing to try and see if it’s a hardware problem but the results come back ok.
I’m running centos and is there any logs i can look at to see why this has happened twice?

Thanks

Hi,

They will not investigate, but at least get the primary check run on the server to see for any hardware malfunction.

Check the server logs for any kernel message or filesystem issue. See if kernel panic situation runs is occuring.
