Issues with OVH support

Hello,

Anyone here run into problems getting OVH support to do anything they are supposed to?

I bought a few servers thinking that I can handle the software if they handle the hardware. It been nothing short of a blood boiling experience.

The latest issue was with a block of IP addresses. It took 2 weeks to get 40 IP addresses. I know there is a shortage, the delay was not the issue.

The IP addresses appeared clean on all public Block lists, so I begin to migrate accounts from another server. No sooner are DNS changes made than I’m getting block rejections from AOL, earthlink, Cloudmart, proofpoint and few others for customers that are trying to send general email.

I received the IP’s on 9/2 did not make them live until 9/12. I opened a support ticket with OVH on 9/17 to be told that I have had these IP’s too long and that the RBL issue is mine to deal with.

So I kick and scream and pitch a fit. Only to get them pretend to address the issue. I’ve working on this to clear these IP’s and they have the to tell me that since not all of them are listed on block lists they will not do any more work.

Of course they are not, I’ve been working on this to fix the issue. OVH support has not done anything to address the blocks except make entries in the ticket to request information then NOT read the ticket response and claim it was a misunderstanding.

Holy crap!

I have about 14 VPS that I want to migrate to Dedicated servers and such about 200 accounts. Anyone have suggestions on a good hardware provider with aggressive pricing like OVH?

Thanks,
Mike
