I need a Dedicated server to use it as VPS Host

Hello everyone .
Actually i’m searching for a service provider to purchase a dedicated server .
I have to inform you, that i want to use this server to create several number of VPSs to sell to my clients, hence it should probably supports number of IPs
Is there anyone out there to help me to find the best and cheapest provider?

Any provider that offers dedicated servers is going to be able to offer you. To narrow it down and find a provider best suited for you we would need to know a number of factors such as:

-> What your budget is?
-> What location would be best for you?
-> Do you need the provider to manage the server for you?
-> What type of virtualization software are you looking to use?
-> How many VPS are you looking to host on this server?
-> How active/load heavy are they?

Would you personally buy a VPS from a provider, who uses cheapest data center?

Best = premium provider with premium support. Best is not cheap.

for the budget i have to say upto 200$/mo (totally with all setup fees and os installation and so on )
for the location, it’s not really important, it could be any where but the server should be fast on network connections.
for virtualization, i prefer VM-wear .
as i know the vps numbers is related to the server configuration but i’m targeting around 16 to 24 vps per server.

and one more thing… is it possible to share each one of the VPSs among 2-3 users or not … what i mean is, imagine that i have got 2 VPSs out of a dedicated server with 2 IPs, it there anyway that i do something to share this 2 vps among 6 people with separate panels ? if there is a way, what is it so ?

My may do it for that budget (it is a low budget) but you are cutting it close to the border of possible as long es you use unmanned server and you are expert in VPS.

Your main problem will be performance if you like to use 16 VPS per server. If we calculate minimum od 2 vCore per VM and 4 gig of ram you will need 64 gig of ram for the 16 and at list 8 core processor so your server dont be overcrowded.

Also for that buget you will not be able to add SSD as tearing or casing so best chance is 4 disk and RAID 10 if is possible.

Also there is the issue of reliability. For having 16 to 24 VM you need server with 0 down time. This mean you need some redundancy.

In my opinion in europian data center you can have your 16 – 24 VM for some 300 to 400 Euros in environment in winch you will fill save that you can go to slip at night normally. In my opinion the calculation if you charge 40$ for VM calculate that at list 50% you need to spend in hardware until you have something like 5 servers. Afterwords it easier.

Also spend in my opinion hiper-v and windows server is better for virtualization. I know that you have some investment to do in softer licence but it can go long way to help you trust me. Especially in the redundancy part.

Ok technically there is but only if the VM are for different need and you do some port customization. For example i have two Widows server VPS one for web server and one for SQL so one i use port 80 on other i use the the SQL port and i change the RDP port on on of the VM. But this is specific scenario. It is not real world scenario and also this is in case one mane have 2 VM and you give him a discount if he take 1 IP if he need just 1.

In reality thing almost never happens because people use VPS usually for hosting multiple websites which they one on one server. This mean they put everything on one server (DNS, Webserver, SQL) and maybe will need 2 ip for 1 VM (This is happening a lot because the DNS because lot of domain providers ask for 2 NS for a domain)
